every 'ride' and character have become more cooler and sleeker and trendier compared to their 1982 predecessors, obviously, this led me to thinking how marveously technology has improved all these years which has made story telling a lot easier. wow!!!! you appreciate the true differnce when you watch the 1st part and the legacy...amazing. i truly enjoyed the movie and to add to the glitter was daft punk;s background score, hell yeah!! the movie just got better, infact way better. the only people who looked at ease in the 'programmes' club were daft punk themselves, i think they were always truly inspired by Tron
wow!! sheer brilliance....to think of such a concept in 1982 is remarkable, true that technology was zero percent advanced when it came to movies, but still the director managed to pull off such a concept with so much ease. even though the movie looks like a cartoon in most of the portions, i was not bored for one second when i watched the movie. if your wondering why i wanted to watch the first part then its only cause i wanted to do full justice to the 2011 tron legacy and not be wondering the origins when i watch it.

I have a very weird policy when it comes to movies, if the background score gives me goosebumps then i know thats this one's gona be a classic and it has never failed me when it comes to intuitions. The bgm for this movie gave me crazy goosebumps and to add it Matt Damon's screen presence, it was all just too much one could ask from a movie. This movie questions and pushes you to ponder over how far would you go for some one you love or some one who completes you, makes you feel special. Its true that every one is ready to face the obstacles but what if the people against you are send by the creator himself, the people who control the forces of nature/destiny so that we all live according to the plan created by the Master above. Im not gona say more, just watch this one and assess one's own life, the revelations are painstakingly true....
This is a Must watch..Thums up!! :) This is by far one of the best feel good malayalam movies that ive come across after a pretty long time. A simple story but the way the script is integrated with food and cooking is simply brilliant. And the scenes wherever there is cooking or eating would simply make your stomach rumble, infact its a royal rumble. Me, ma sis and bro made a mistake going for the late night show, even though we went for it after dinner, we were s***t hungry half way thru the movie. Apart from that, cute short story and its got more than a simple love story, without any drama, it leaves one to ponder about the situations and the confusions. Overall its a beautiful movie with some insane comedy, standard comedy, not some cheap namesake comedy. Brilliant performances by all and definitely a must watch...100% family entertainer....
What a movie!!!! if you ve still havent watched it, then what the hell are you waiting for it?! Call your nearest cinema, book off tickets, grab your plate of nachos and enjoy this extravagant road trip perked with adventure sports in Spain :) Three extremely talented and natural actors getting together is something any director would dream of let alone a first timer. Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol keep up the brilliant comedy timings which makes this movie comedy filled and inspirational at the same time.
I really loved the way Hrithik's character changes, develops and grows along with the movie's running time, thats something really brilliant and the exchange of subtle glances between him and Katrina adds to their chemistry. the movie is about fighting away your fears totally agreeing with what Hrithik tells Farhan "let it all go!!". And oh this movie is a definite theatre venture because of the splendid cinematography. Hurry before it leaves your screens!! Mega thumbs up for this one!! this movie is about this teen who's pretty much fed up with his life, hes got a lot running on in his head, the chic he loves is dating his best friend, his dad wants him to go to the best summer school etc etc...pressure pressure pressure...n that exactly the prime reason why he decides to jump off the bridge and end all this pressure. But unfortunately fortunately he instead goes to the pscyh ward of a hospital and gets himself admited. it so clearly preaches about how we need to stand up for our fights and lead the life exactly the way we want to and not on pressure. with patients ranging from emma roberts to Zach from hangover, this movie is definitely one hell of a ride and explores human nature in all limits and extents. id definitely say a thumbs up for this venture.
Bejoy Nambiar, ever since i saw Shaitan i ve been reading up on this guy and i came to know that he achieved critical acclaim for this silent movie 'reflections' which stars one of my favourite actors from south india - Mohanlal. Its just a 9min short film, watch , enjoy and interpret in your own way.....
i watched a couple of movies in the past two weeks, but this is one movie which is making my fingers tingle to write this review before i get to anything else. i just finished watching the movie and every scene is vivid and fresh in my mind. first of all one thing id definitely say is Bejoy Nambiar and Megha Ramaswamy who are the two people who ve penned this script and story are mega mega mega trippers!!! hell yea...hi 5 to em because they ve just brought one of the finest cinemas in indian history. i think people should consider this as a milestone as it marks another style of narration. im just spellbound by the entire movie, it was simply crazeeeeeee and it was rajeev khandelwaal n nikhil chinappa as cops were apt and true to the script. Brilliant performances by all and the background score, whoa!! hats off to those guys....if Bejoy Nambiar knows how to make a trippy and whacky movie then these bgm guys knew how to back the script n screenplay all throughout the running time.
id give a 5star rating for this movie, must watch and a thumbs up!!! P.S I love the 'guy ritchie' touch he's given to this movie i finally got a chance to watch this movie and as expected from a rohan sippy entertainment, it didnt fail to dissapoint one bit. i was more than happy to see Abhishek in a role that suits him the best, the attitude and the dialogue delivery, being a cop and whooping some major ass!! one scene that really got my adrenaline pumping was a chase scene in the market and Abhishek shoots a goon in the knee, that guy pleading for his life says 'i surrender, main information de saktha hai'. AB asks 'Barbosa ka patha hai?' the goon crawling due to the gun shot in his knee says 'nahi'. in full attiude the reply 'baaki sab ke liye Google hai!!' and bham!!!!gun shot!! (ok maybe it sounds lame, but i got fullishto excited when i saw that)
Rana and Prateik have given some insane performances, infact every one for that matter was at their best and to top it all brilliant direction and tight editing has done the needful. im not sure how well this movie did in the box office, but this one is a definite entertainer. im pretty sure none of you would have heard of this movie, i read a review on this and i got hold of the reel. i had allready decided that ill watch max 5mins of this movie, if its good then ill go ahead else shift+del. the minute i saw these 3 guys, Rajat, Choudary and liquid, prominent characters/ daily life regulars, i was like this is gona be fun. ther are some hilarious situations and dialogues with a bgm 'ban gaya kutta!!' which just adds to the comedy of the scene.
the movie revolves around these three guys , best buddies, living in the same flat but different professions and their gals which again are 'characters'. my respect to the script and story writer because they have managed to make a story out of 6 prominent characters and situations that either you would have faced at some point or the other or you would have seen some else going through it. im not saying this is a major blockbuster or anything but the fact that 6 newbies have managed to pull off a decent entertainer is worth the appreciation. One of the major highlights is Rajat's 5min monologue about what a guy goes through in a relationship, its freaking hilarious and cent percent accurate!! p.s When i was watching this movie, every situation/scene reminded me of something that happened in college...so i personally found it super entertaining i simply loved this movie, i think its been ages since i saw a noir gangster film and totally british. collin farrel and ray whinstone steal every scene that they are in, authorative and classic, this movie boasts of some great timing of action and dialogues. if you like style and attitude, then london boulevard is highly recommended. do not miss the scene where a guy gets his face smashed in the pub, that some extremely neat editing from the studios. i can go on and on about the movie, so before this becomes a spoiler alert, i say 'just go for it!!" 5 stars...thumbs up for this
p.s adding to the allready good plot and cast is kiera knightley's brilliant screen presence and ease in getting into any character |
